In Remembrance

Roma Kershaw Anderson Roma Kershaw Anderson, 83, of Blackfoot, Idaho formerly of Boise, Idaho passed away Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008 at The Willows in Blackfoot, Idaho She was born April 30, 1925 in Wendall, Idaho the daughter of Archi Guy Stephenson and Beatrice Kershaw Stephenson. She graduated from Boise High School. On May 20, 1945, she married Jack Anderson in Carlsbad, N.M. where he was stationed in the Air Force. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served as a teacher in every auxiliary. Roma was a secretary for Albertsons, but her most accomplished career was that of wife and mother. She was an accomplished artist and poet. She was a best friend and confident to her children and will be missed more than words can express. She is survived by husband, Jack of Blackfoot; sons, Richard William Anderson of Washington, James Stephen Anderson of Shelley, Idaho, Thomas Jack Anderson of Boise, Idaho; daughter, Kaye (Dennis) Jensen of Blackfoot, Idaho; sister, Sheila (Arden) Rasmussen of Preston, Idaho; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Archie; sisters, Elaine Gowan and Maxine Cox. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008 at Meridian 8th Ward LDS Chapel, located at 11443 W. McMillan Road, with Bishop Dellas Fredericksen conducting. The family will meet with friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Relyea Funeral Chapel, 318 N. Latah St., Boise, Idaho 83706 and from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church on Wednesday prior to the services. Interment will be in the Terrace Lawn Cemetery in Boise, Idaho. Arrangements in Blackfoot were under the direction of the Hawker Funeral Home. Funeral services are under the direction of Relyea Funeral Chapel.
